Celebration of the Queensland Day

Let us celebrate the Queensland Day!
クィーンズランド ・デーをお祝いしよう!

Queensland Day is a celebration of Queensland’s birthday and its official separation from New South Wales as an independent colony on 6 June 1859. It is an opportunity to commemorate the state’s culture, heritage, people, places and industry.
今日は1859年にクィーンズランド がニューサウスウェールズから独立した日をお祝いする日です。

JCQ agreed to following government sentence, it said;

”This Queensland Day, 6 June, we say thanks to those Queenslanders who have helped us through one of the most challenging times—our health workers, teachers and emergency service providers, our Care Army, shop assistants and transport operators, our neighbours, family and friends.”
「今年6月6日のクィーンズランド デーに際し、この厳しい時期に頑張ってくれた方々、 病院関係者、先生、救急&警察関係、ケア・アーミー、公共交通機関、我々の近所の皆さん、そして家族や友達に感謝を申し上げます。

AGM postpone 年次総会の延期のお知らせ

Due to the unprecedented circumstances, the QUEENSLAND Government has requested today that we cancel unnecessary meetings.

I would like to postpone our AGM until COVID-19 situation has eased.

2020 Brisbane Multi Language Speech Contests

The dates are set for the 2020 Brisbane Multi Language Speech Contests at Griffith University Nathan Campus. Please save the dates – Secondary on August 2 and Primary on September 13. We look forward to seeing you all there.

新年あけましておめでとうございます                   旧年中はJCQをご支援いただき、誠にありがとうございます。今年もよろしくお願いします。

Japan is going to be hosting the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic 2020 this year. We believe lots of tourist from Queensland will visit all over the Japan. We wish everyone will have a wonderful memory and experience in Japan.

Season’s Greetings

We wish you have a wonderful festive season!

We have appreciated your kind support during 2019. We have achieved so many issues. First of all, we are organising Domestic Family Violence information session for the Japanese community.

We have supported 35 year anniversary of the Sister state agreement between QLD and Saitama prefecture. The Governor of Saitama, Mr. Ono sent appreciation letter to us.

Currently we have another project for supporting vulnerable Japanese youth, called “Bullying and Cyber Bullying information booklet”.

Our organisation is a Not for profit organisation, which is support vulnerable people and enrich our Japanese culture. If you are keen to support us, we are welcome to you to become our member to support our community.
